IP Model Sneak

What a fun shoot this was.  This shoot consisted of 7 models and 4 photographers. The makeup artist, Faythe was very talented and very patient. She used to be a Jaguar cheerleader too

It was a pleasure and joy to work with the IP group and I look forward to working with them again

 

Back from Chicago

Our trip went well.  I really missed my own bed though an so did the kids…lol

Noah asked me everyday if we was going to have his OWN bed with his OWN toys back

Visiting with family and friends went well.  Trin got a little beat up by her cousins but its ok She beats Noah up all the time anyway- guess its payback.

So we went downtown to the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium.  Tim uploaded my pictures and LOST my pictures to the Shedd Aquarium. I was soooo mad at him but…nothing I or he could do to get them back = And I had some really cool pictures of the sculptures there and the fish.  Oh well…lesson learned- dont let your husband (who thinks he knows it all) upload your pictures

I have nothing else to say about this photo than….PERFECT!  I am usually more laid back about my work but when I saw this…I almost cried…If you look carefully into this picture…the interaction between the daddy and son is priceless.

These little girls were just THE BEST.  I loved how cooperative they were and how they took direction very well.  IT was a nice switch from having to BEG for pictures. 

Misty, thanks for having me come out to take photos of your beautiful girls.  Definitely keep in contact because you have some models on your hands, girl!

Okay so I am so much in love with this family. ESPECIALLY that darling one year old, “L”

GASP!!  And he got his hair cut and ohhhh… so handsome!!

I was going through the session before I sat down to edit and everytime I looked at his little grin or the LOVE that these 2 have for this little boy…my heart skipped a beat and I smiled too!! 

And Crissy…You need to call me…I need to use you again…;)

Sooooo EXCITED…

Youknow I knew eventually my work would pay off…I wa asked to do a model shoot with a local photography company in Jacksonville, Florida… Its an equestrian shoot…

Here is the email that went out to the models…

So we have confirmed with Double A Ranch that we can do an equestrian shoot,
we are actually paying a fee for the horse prep but they will give us free
reign, so I am SO EXCITED! I’m going to throw out 3 dates so let me know
what works best and the majority rules to nail it down. I hope all of you
can make it but totally understand that you all have your own busy lives. A
friend and colleague of mine will be shooting or shadowing with us (also a mentor)
she usually focuses on babies & families but was interested in joining
us with one of our model shoots, you can check her site out @
http://www.branditphotography.com/ she is AWESOME! I’m sure I will be
learning a lot from her myself! I can not guarantee any of Brandi’s photos if she takes any; you will probably have to
purchase any of hers from her site. I will get with her on how she wants to
handle her shots of you. I also have 2 make-up artists and possibly 2
stylists that will be on hand. Still trying to plan on the time frame and
the “theme” to work from, we will do individuals & group shots as well.

So excited… so I told Tim about this and guess what…. HE’ S GETTING ME MY CAMERA AND LENSES!!!  WHOOOO HOOOOOO

I am so happy…This cuts my trip to Chicago a little short (by a day or 2) but any sessions I have scheduled in the Chi are still going to happen!!

 Yes, I really am really this bored tonight and yes, I do always wear black when I shoot…lol

Soooooo bored tonight…. but I did update my website….yay! FINALLY!

I got my hair cut and I went jet black…. I really like it (some know that I went kind of blonde this summer which was NOT me and I couldnt get used to it no matter what I did)
